There is no place like home exhibtion | Sunday, 13 September, 2009, 5:01 pm

My dear special friend Ella Doran is hosting a sealed bid auction of unique artist-designed place mats in aid of Shelter from 19th September to 3rd October 2009 at her Cheshire Street shop.
The Private View and Tea Party is from 2pm – 5pm on the 19th September. Come along for tea and cakes and bid on a limited edition collection of place mats.
International contributors: Paul Bommer, James Brown, Amy Cushing, Anthony Dickens, Ella Doran, Chris Eckersley, Sharon Elphick, Michelle Grabner, Katy Hackney, Jason Hart, Matthew Hilton, Dan Holliday, Melodie Holliday, Inkie, Kim Jenkins, Michael Marriott, Peter McDonald, Sue Parker, Martin Parr, Rob Ryan, Zakee Shariff, Andrew Stafford, Dandy Star and Sparks Studio.
Bidding will be possible via the internet from next week and in the shop throughout the opening of the exhibition. The highest bidders will be notified by email on Monday 5th October.

Pop-Up shop opening night | Friday, 28 August, 2009, 8:17 pm

We had the opening last night of my Roxy Heart by Zakee Shariff AW09 collection pop up shop, at Beyond the Valley,. It was such a great night, thank you to all that came by. All involved were amazing and I am very grateful! It will stay open till the 27th Sept. So for those of you that are based on London, come down to Beyond the Valley  2 Newburgh St, London, W1F 7RD.

I was looking at one of my favorite blogs called 2 or 3 things I know,  earlier  and I saw these images of waves by the  Japanese photographer Syoin Kajii   and they just really struck me with emotion. I dream about the ocean all the time, I love the ocean with a great passion, and I enjoy diving into waves. I need to learn to surf then I could probably feel i have reached heaven…
