'Peace Driven' | AW03

For her Autumn/Winter 2003 collection, Zakee was inspired by childhood memories of her mother's boutique in Seventies Pakistan, where sumptuous, embroidered fabrics lay strewn over a stunning mosaic floor. Zakee fused these elements with influences from London street culture, creating a collection which contrasts masculine tailoring against colourful romantic fluid silks.

MAGGIE | AW03

This season the Maggie range featured a 'Star Blast' print, Maggie's own 'Bubble Alphabet', and also abstract striped letters. Zakee collaborated with Public to achieve some of these graphics. All three prints stand boldly alone but to achieve the cool style Maggie epitomises, mix 'n' match all the prints together.
